This is a really easy way to relax if you have had a stressful day. Sitting somewhere comfortable with your eyes closed begin by taking 5 slow deep breaths. Then you can count down slowly from 10 down to 1 and imagine yourself in a really calm peaceful place like a garden or a beach. It can be a real place you have visited in the past or just an imagined place. Then when you are ready simply count yourself up slowly from 1 up to 10. This easy exercise can be repeated as often as you like.
